Winthrop University Police Department responded to a petty larceny incident reported on Oct 20.
The incident involved a missing personal item at West Thompson Hall Oct 20 between the hours of 10:00p.m. and 10:00a.m. the following morning.
According to the owner of the missing item, identified as a Winthrop Affiliate, she stated that she noticed a pair of her Converse shoes missing out of her closet. She also mentioned that she asked her roommates if they happen to have seen her shoes, but everyone denied.
The R/O assisted the owner of the missing item with filing a Victim Notification Form. The R/O cleared the scene.
