Two Cents: Fall

Hi, I’m Shealy, and I like talking to people; hearing their opinions on pop culture, something minuscule that happened in their day, and so much more. There is wisdom, humor, and much more in the few words that my fellow Winthrop students share with me. This week instead of just asking what was on people’s mind, I proposed the question “What are you looking forward to about fall and why?” For me, I am looking forward to not sweating on my way to class.

“I am looking forward to wearing cute clothes and bonfires.”

Leah McMillan, graduate student

“Sweaters. Fall Fashion. I love wearing boots. Oh, and drinking hot chocolate.”

Ta’Niss Robinson, senior psychology major

“I like the atmosphere of fall. It’s when friends and family are able to get together.”

Jammie Huynh, junior English and Spanish major

“For it to be cooler. I also get to go home for Thanksgiving this year, and home is in Massachusetts.”

Chelsi Colleton, Study Abroad Coordinator

“The weather to get cooler because it is always 90 degrees, and I feel like I have ran a 5k when I get back to my dorm.”

Makayla Toles, sophomore theatre tech
